This is something my therapist taught me for letting go of unwanted thoughts and stress. I hope that it can help you to have a peaceful, smoke free week.

Sit someplace comfortable. Close your eyes. Picture yourself sitting on a flat rock in the middle of a slow moving stream. There are leaves floating in the stream, gently flowing from behind you, to in front of you, and on down the stream. Whenever a thought comes into your mind, place it on one of the leaves. No judgments toward the thoughts, just place each one on a leaf and watch it float down the stream. Sit this way in the sunshine on the rock, watching the leaves float down the stream, until you are calm.
