Some tips for anxiety...

Leaves on a stream 

Picture yourself sitting on a flat rock in the middle of a slow moving stream. Leaves are floating past you moving from behind you, around you, and down the stream. Any time an unwanted thought enters your mind, put it on a leaf and watch it drift away. Do this, putting thoughts on leaves with no judgement, and watch them float downstream until you are calm. 
5-4-3-2-1
Look around you and find: 
5 things you can see

4 things you can hear

3 things you can touch

2 things you can smell

1 thing you can taste

This grounds you and gets you out of your head into the outside world.
Panic practice
This one is tough, and takes practice, but it took away my middle of the night panic attacks completely in about 2 weeks. When the panic strikes and your mind is screaming irrational thoughts say sternly to yourself "Stop! You are just as safe as you were 5 minutes ago." I know it seems simplistic, but it worked for me. 
I hope one of these helps someone, they sure help me.
