Hi, I'm ParrotLady (Denise), and I’m so honored to be your host for the bonfire tonight. I have read all the books in my Kindle (multiple times) and I need new titles. Do you have any recommendations? I can recommend the original Dick Francis, all his books are wonderful. He has passed now, and his son is writing stories under his Dad’s name, but he’s not as good, in my opinion. Mrs Pollifax stories are preposterous but great fun. Lord Peter Whimsy is rather dated but so intellectual. All this helps to distract from the worries of the world.

Anyway, this wonderful Bonfire tradition is carried on in the memory of our very own Q-Angel, Mary (tillietoiler) Merrey. She started the bonfire as a place to get together and toss away your unsmoked cigarettes and anything else that may be bothering you. As Mary became too weak to host, the BBBs (Bonfire Brigade Babes & Bros.) took over tending Mary’s fire.

Newbies and everyone else, shout out your anniversaries and any milestones you may be celebrating. I love to celebrate those important days. And remember, it's because of each of you that we are here! Those newbie unsmokeds go up like a rocket, so stand back!
Methods of hauling your unsmoked cigarettes: In your choice of colors and decorations
001-500 = tall kitchen trash bags
501 to 999 = black yard size trash bags
1,000 to 9,999 = wheel barrows
10,000 to 49,999 = new dump truck
50,000 to 99,999 = a train
100,000 to 249,999 = a barge
I’ll start this bonfire by throwing my 76,050 unsmoked cigarettes out of my psychedelic train; swooooooooooooooooosh, there they go, up in a blaze!
