The method you choose to use isn't really that important. We have seen great success with nicotine replacement products, medications, and cold turkey.

It really doesn't matter if it’s hard for you or easy for you.

It really doesn't matter what other unpleasantries you might have going on at the moment, or that may occur during your quit.

It matters very little how much you smoked or for how long.

It doesn't really matter whether your spouse, roommate, relatives, houseguests, friends, or co-workers continue to smoke

It doesn't matter whether you've been quit an hour, a day, a week, or months.

It doesn't even really matter whether you want to quit or you don't.

What really DOES matter is whether you decide to take, or to avoid, that FIRST puff of nicotine, one day at a time.  Nobody here has ever quit while continuing to smoke. That's the one that always got me. That FIRST puff!

After that it's start over.  Do not pass GO!  Do not collect $200.  It's reset the meter or the gadget.   It instantly adds the ingredients guilt, shame, and remorse, which make it all that much worse.  Another failed quit...

There are a lot of different people and opinions here. But one thing we can all agree on is this:  If we don't take that FIRST puff, one day at a time, it is physically IMPOSSIBLE to fail!

If we don't take that FIRST puff, just for today, we are absolutely, positively, 100% guaranteed to go to bed a WINNER tonight!

It really is exactly that simple. It’s the only 100% guarantee that we have. Please join me in not taking that FIRST puff, just for today. No matter what happens.
