The Last Nerve (H.T.B.C.)

For quitters with a still smoking spouse or SO.

For everyone who has a still smoking spouse. Mine is still smoking and I’ll be quit 6 Years in September, so use their smoking to defy relapsing rather than an excuse to. You are FIERCE, you can do it!! ⚓️

Some really good advise Kateonline one day at a time. We are all living in such odd times at the moment. One good thing in this mess is that you have kept you quit. This is huge. Hugs

1q2 S is right...one day at a time. As for being selfish? nope. I don't think you're selfish. Frustrated, worried, angry....which are all legitimate. My husband still smokes too and there are days where it drives me crazy...from the constant cough, the smell, the cost and the future cost of getting sick. I don't have any good advice, but just wanted you to know you're not alone and it's not selfish to feel these things.

My advice is to take it one day at a time. This is a hard time for all of us. You, me, and the next person. I understand your frustration and your reasoning. I hope that things will get better for you, and for him, and for the two of you if that’s ever even a possibility. I’m sorry everything is so hard.

So we are on the tail end of my spouse's second bout with Community Acquired Pneumonia (first time was 4 years ago). Her first time with pneumonia she ended up in the hospital for 4 days. When she got out the hospital the first thing she did was light up!

This time I was extremely proactive and got her into urgent care early but they still transferred her to emergency for further evaluation because of her previous history of pneumonia. They gave here massive doses of antibiotics and steroids...

:rage:I got my annual FREE flu shot today and of course, yet again Lovebuns refuses to get one. Doesn’t matter that he had a heart attack, has a stent, will be 68 in days and smokes his chops off. That’s fine dear, don’t worry about your health or mine (I have hypothyroidism thus a compromised immune system). Thanks a lot! GRRRRRR :face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

I can't even say what entered my head or I'd probably be locked up. (eh...gonna say it anyway...they have to catch me first to lock me up) I thought at first the big metal thing in the background was the hopper for a meat grinder.

I like that cup. I'd like to have one as a decorative ornament lol. It would totally get on my husband's nerves.
